When power supply becomes part of the experience
What happens when power supply is not simply available, but deliberately integrated into an event concept?
At the celebration marking SNOCKS' 10th anniversary, the Brennenstuhl Charging Lounge created a space where guests could not only charge their smartphones, but also take a short break themselves.
The idea behind it: provide power and charging options exactly where they are needed – simple, flexible and perfectly suited to a modern environment.

hugo! MAGNETIC: Power exactly where it is needed
A central feature of the Charging Lounge was the large Charging Wall featuring hugo! MAGNETIC power strips.
What makes it special is already in the name: thanks to the magnetic plate on the underside, hugo! MAGNETIC can be easily attached to suitable magnetic surfaces. Instead of leaving the power strip on the floor or hidden behind furniture, it can be positioned exactly where it is actually needed.
This made it the ideal use case for the Charging Wall: several hugo! MAGNETIC power strips could be visibly and conveniently integrated into the concept, providing guests with easy access to power for their chargers directly on site.
With three earthed sockets, a 2-metre cable and flexible magnetic mounting, hugo! MAGNETIC combines classic power distribution with a modern, minimalist product concept.
This turns a power strip into a product that can be deliberately integrated into its surroundings – whether at an event, in a home office, at a desk or in a living area.
More than just a charging station
The Charging Wall was complemented by hugo! ONE socket cubes, as well as table lamps and seating in the chill-out area.
This created more than just a place to charge smartphones. It became a complete Charging Lounge: plug in devices, take a short break, connect with other guests and then continue celebrating with renewed energy.
This approach shows what modern power supply can look like today: reliable and functional, while at the same time designed so that the products naturally become part of a modern living environment.
